Friends of the Library Book Fundraiser
An exciting new project is being undertaken by the Friends of the Library. Watch for a display in the Chamber of Commerce in mid September.
The goal behind the project aside from raising funds for the Friends of the Library is to promote reading to and by children.
A Chinese Auction will be held based on books. Each display will feature a particular focus. For example, one set of books is all about Star Wars. Another is about Elmo, while others feature Pete the Cat and Madeline. In total, there will be a variety of 17 displays.
To participate, a purchase of 10 tickets will allow entry into whichever set of books chosen. Each set of tickets will be $5.00.
