From the Bleachers

The District 9 Committee was scheduled to have a meeting last week to sort out what the effect the reclassification of schools will have on D9 football in the fall, but according to CCHS Athletic Director Dave Sullivan, it was cancelled. The reason is that the Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Athletic Association has yet to make firm dates for the season and the state playoffs, so everything will be on hold until they issue their final schedule.

To be honest, I wouldn’t mind seeing the Raiders play teams like Clarion-Limestone, Union, A-C Valley and Keystone in addition to the traditional Allegheny Mountain League opponents.
