From the Bleachers

Many longtime managers in baseball claim they have seen everything. They are wrong. The curious case of Chicago White Sox left handed pitcher Chris Sale has proven that no matter how long you watch the game, something different will pop up.

Sale was scheduled to start Saturday night against the Detroit Tigers but was unhappy with the throwback uniforms the Sox were to wear and asked that the team not use them during his start. But the White Sox organization had a fan promotion tied to the uniforms and told Sale he and his teammates would have to don them. Granted, the collared jerseys were both ugly and probably as uncomfortable as Sale claimed, but what he did next bordered on lunacy.
