For those of you who read sports news on the internet, Chris Rossetti from D9sports.com had a brief but excellent article last week concerning football in District 9. The fact that Rossetti echoed my opinion from several columns ago notwithstanding, after watching the Red Raiders’ thumping at the hands of the AAAA Bradford Owls, I consider Rossetti’s dissertation is a must read for anyone who cares about our kids playing high school football.
He took the District 9 officials to task for the rash of uncompetitive games that have occurred between the Class A schools in the district and the Class AA, AAA and AAAA schools.
