There is nothing more disappointing than looking forward to something only to have it postponed by weather. Multiply that by six and you have last week as the Red Raider sports teams were zero for six, a big fat doughnut versus Pennsylvania’s April weather. I apologize for encouraging the sports going public in Emporium to attend games that never came off.
My wife and I have been watching The Masters golf tournament and getting her to take in golf on TV is an accomplishment in itself but she seemed like she was actually enjoying it. Her favorite part, however, is when Tiger Woods hits a stray drive into the trees or misses a short putt. Apparently, she is not a fan of husbands and fathers who run around Las Vegas with hookers while they are married, no matter how talented they are at hitting a golf ball.
