If you attend many Red Raider or Lady Red Raider basketball games you probably see me manning the clock at the scorer’s table, and from there I am privy to many conversations on the benches and between the coaches and the officials. Lately, the topic of when to substitute your bench players either on the winning end or the losing end of a game that has been decided has been coming up, and believe it or not, I may have an opinion.
