From the Bleachers

After just one round, District 9 teams have not fared too well in the PIAA playoffs. In Class A boys, only district champion Ridgway was able to advance past the opening weekend. Johnsonburg had the unfortunate draw of Lincoln Park Performing Arts, the top ranked Class A team in the state according to MaxPreps, and was predictably drubbed by a team made up of at least three or four division one recruits. Clarion Limestone drew District 6 champion Bishop Carroll, the fifth ranked team in the state, and also lost handily.
