I jumped in the car with my wife to drive over to Ludlow on Sunday only to discover that the Wildcats only had eight players and had to forfeit the Alle-Catt baseball game. The plus side was that I had never been to Wildcat Park and it really is a very nice place with a lot of terrific pavilions and picnic facilities. But the hour plus drive for no game sure took big chunk out of my afternoon.
