Sometimes a football game comes along that reinvigorates a fan. It is especially fun when that contest comes at the end of a long high school football season. The Allegheny Mountain League Championship last Friday night at Cameron County High School was just such a game.
The final score, Ridgway 28 Cameron County 21, indicates that it was a close contest, but it does not come close to telling the story. After all, the Red Raiders entered the contest with a 4-5 record and had received a 42-8 beating at the hands of the Elkers in Ridgway in the regular season on September 5th.
