I spent the first weekend without a Red Raider football game in a couple of months at Clarion University watching my Alma Mater, Slippery Rock University defeat the Golden Eagles. I try not to miss opportunities to see the Rock either on TV, on my computer, or in person, but my real reason this trip was to catch former Raider star Andrew Fragale in action. Andrew played well from his nose tackle position, but the Clarion offense has been unable to generate many points this season.
I’d like to thank Mike and Kate Fragale and the rest of the Clarion parents for their hospitality at the pre-game tailgate; they sure know how to put out a spread of food and drink.
