From the Bleachers

With all the college football bowl games on television the last two weeks I have barely left the couch. But last Friday’s meltdown by Pitt in the Armed Forces Bowl against Houston was as bad as I have ever seen. Pitt allowed an equally mediocre University of Houston team to come back from a 34-13 deficit with just over six minutes to play and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

During the epic collapse, the Panthers allowed two successful onside kicks, three touchdown drives of less than two minutes and a game winning two point conversion.
