I frequently hear coaches preaching patience on the basketball floor, and it is no secret that two District 9 boys’ basketball teams, Elk County Catholic and Ridgway have done extremely well in recent seasons by taking care of the basketball and being patient in working for the best shot on the offensive end. Last Friday the Lady Red Raiders showed that it can be just as important on the defensive end.

Otto-Eldred was leading the Lady Raiders 31-25 with five minutes to play in the third quarter when the Lady Terrors decided to pull the ball out to the mid court line and force CCHS to come out of their zone and open up the inside
