On Saturday evening I received a text from my daughter with a link to the Texas Rangers’ website so I had to see what it was. The link showed a short video of David Lyon hitting a line drive three run homerun against the Los Angeles Dodgers in a spring training game the Rangers played in San Antonio. Later I saw the same video posted on Facebook but the interesting thing was that even on the tiny screen of my old iPhone 4 I could tell the batter was David by his stance in the batter’s box and the sweet swing he put on the ball. Baseball is a sport that imprints indelible images in your memory unlike any other game.
