From the Bleachers

Every little vacation I get turns into a sports trip and Easter weekend was no different. After spending Thursday night in Slippery Rock I went on to Columbus, Ohio on Friday. The purpose of the trip in addition to visiting my brother and sister-in-law was to catch the Pittsburgh Penguin- Columbus Blue Jacket game at Nationwide Arena. It was the second time I have been there for a Pens game and it has kind of become an annual event; but as has happened all too much lately, Pittsburgh was beaten badly.
On Thursday we had dinner with my son Vince, who is a senior at the Rock, and one of his roommates, Zach Austin, who is yet another former Red Raider.
