Lady Raider Track Team Tops Port, Oswayo

The Cameron County High School Red Raider track and field team had a meet last Tuesday with Port Allegany and Oswayo Valley at Port Allegany High School.
The Lady Red Raiders beat the Lady Green Wave 85-45 and the Lady Gators 89-61. The Red Raider boys’ team defeated Oswayo Valley 115-20 but fell to Port Allegany 80-70.

Kamme Guisto won the 300m hurdles (56.0), triple jump (32’7”) and high jump (4’8”) to lead CCHS past OV. Guisto’s leap in the triple jump qualified her for the District 9 Championships at the close of the season. Also capturing wins were Julia Aikens in the 100m (13.8), 200m (31.8), Morgan Lorenzo in the 100m hurdles (18.58), Cassie Frey in the 800m (3:08) and long jump (13’1”), Tess Dubler in the Discus (74’10”) and javelin (63’5”) and Reggie Goodrow in the shot put (25’9”).
The 400m relay team of Aikens, Lorenzo, Frey and Guisto were also winners in 56.3 seconds.
