LEPC Notified Of Discontinuation of Chemical Use at Local Facilities
Members of the Local Emergency Planning Committee discussed the discontinuation of the use of chemicals at two different facilities near Emporium during their quarterly meeting held in April.
A notice was received from Mid-Cameron Authority stating that they will no longer use gaseous chlorine at the sewage treatment facility. Due to this change, the annual off site plan update to the data entry form is no longer necessary.
