Local American Legion Looking For New Members
The members of the American Legion Auxiliary, Olkosky-Jessop Post 194 held their regular monthly meeting September 11, at the VFW Club. The American Legion Auxiliary, founded in 1919, is a women’s patriotic service organization. The Olkosky-Jessop Post 194 of the American Legion Auxiliary was formed 90 years ago in 1922. (The same year our current Auxiliary president, Verna Kondek, was born.)
