Local Emergency Planning Training Wednesday

With the thoughts of the recent Parkland, Fla., school shooting still seared in the minds of many, the backdrop for a local training event this week couldn’t be more appropriate.
Work Place Violence and Mass Shooting training will take place at the Emporium Fire Hall Wednesday (Feb. 21) from 1 to 3 p.m.
The event is being sponsored by Cameron County Emergency Management and the Local Emergency Planning Committee.
