Mountain Lines

THE DROP -POINT HUNTER
Robert Waldorf Loveless
(2 Jan. 1929 – 2 Sept. 2010)
Bob Loveless was on shore leave in the early ‘50’s and tried to buy a Randall knife and was told that there was a 9-month waiting period so he set about making his own and the results were historical in design.
Loveless fostered the drop-point design on a full-tang, fixed blade sheath knife with a tapered point and butt, hollow ground blade and screws to mount the handle scales.
When I first saw the knife, as an artist, I immediately fell in love with the clean, simplistic lines of the drop-point design.
