IT’S THAT SIMPLE
A recent article in “Bowhunter magazine: Nov./Dec. Whitetail Special 2017 issue, Dr. Dave Samuel, Conservation Editor, starts his article: “Deer Summit 2017”, page 20, with this profound statement:
“We all know that deer drive the financial backing of our state wildlife agencies. Losing deer or losing deer numbers would mean a financial disaster with the loss of funds used to manage all wildlife. It’s that simple.”
Dr. Samuel is wrong. One of the oldest and once the best Wildlife Agency in the United States, the Pennsylvania Game Commission, doesn’t know that.
