‘My Brother Mattered’
To Whom It May Concern:
On August 29, 1981, my brother, Jeff Russell, was hit and killed by a train, five miles north of Emporium. There has always been speculation about his death; because of this uncertainty, I’ve never had closure or a sense of peace about his death. I am writing this in hopes that the individuals who may have any information will come forward.
