New Affordable Housing Home Ready For Qualified Family

A brand new home in Emporium is ready to welcome an income eligible owner under an Affordable Housing program sponsored by the Northern Tier Community Action Corporation.
The residential dwelling is located at 236 West Fifth Street and is the first new family style home to be constructed in the borough in the last 10 years.
The modular constructed home has 1,140 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, two baths and off street parking.
“We feel this home will be an asset to the neighborhood,” said David Greene, Northern Tier Executive Director.
“It provides badly needed affordable housing, puts the property back on the tax roles and raises local property values.”
