North Central Manufacturing Forum
On February 21st, North Central Staff particpated in a conversation/listening session with Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson. The theme of the session was manufacturing. The Congressman was interested in hearing from manufacturers who have successfully adapted to the evolution of the industry and those who have embraced problem solving and forward thinking in the area.
Representative Thompson stated that since being elected to Congress, he has made it a priority to support legislation that is good for American manufacturing and good for job creation throughout Pennsylvania’s Fifth Congressional District. Along with that, he mentioned that quality career and technical education as the key to the future of manufacturing.
