Operation Christmas Child Underway
Donations are currently being accepted for Operation Christmas Child, whose volunteers collect shoeboxes packed with goodies for distribution to less fortunate children in more than 100 countries around the world.
At Northwest Savings Bank, volunteers have set up a table with shoeboxes and information on how to pack them for Cameron County residents wishing to participate in the program. A donation can is also available. Donations will help pack shoeboxes, which cost approximately $20 each to fill.
