‘Part of Driftwood in Four Mile’

Since there has been much mention of the Driftwood Hotel I have to add our piece.  When it was being dismantled in the 1980s as it was basically falling down, Salty went there and purchased some of the hotel doors and wainscoting, having to dismantle them.  He used a chainsaw and cut completely around the door and frames.  We were building our house and used them with the exception of the transoms as we only have 8 ft. ceilings.
