Playgrounds in the Wilds

The 2nd Playground in the Wilds program of the summer was held last week.

Hosted by Cameron County Recreation Center and Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities (CCOYA), about 20 young people showed up to learn more about the wonders of nature.  This event was held at the Woodland School playground, taking advantage of the newly erected pavilion located at the Gary Dubler Memorial Nature Trail.

“We are really excited to see the Gary Dubler Nature Trail starting to get more use,” commented Don Bickford of CCOYA.
