Red Cross Blood Drive Comes Up Short of Goal

The American Red Cross Blood Drive was held at Emporium American Legion Post 194 on Thursday with 29 productive donations and three deferrals.  Goal for the day was 32 so they were a little short, but they had a great day anyway.

Congratulations go out to the donors who received milestone pins:  Frank Armanini received a 12 gallon pin; William Tallyen received a five gallon pin; and, Danielle Hopwood received a one gallon pin.

To receive a one gallon pin you must donate eight times because eight pints make up a gallon. Frank has given 96 times, William has given 40 times, and Danielle has given eight times, at least.
