The Cameron County High School Red Raider varsity basketball team traveled to Northgate High School in Pittsburgh to take on Vincentian Academy in the opening round of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Class A playoffs but fell to the Royals 60-53.

The Red Raiders were heavy underdogs facing the WPIAL Champions, but after falling behind by nineteen points at halftime, rallied in the second half to push Vincentian to the final minutes.

Cameron County’s Dino Brown hit a three point field goal early to give the Raiders a lead, but they spent the rest of the first half watching the Royals build a 35-16 lead.
