Members of the Cameron County School District Board of Directors met Wednesday evening to take action on two issues that went unresolved at their regularly scheduled meeting last week.

During their last two meetings, members were unable to get a majority of members to agree on a tax millage rate, which held up the mailing of local tax bills. Also left unresolved at the last regular meeting was the matter of Homestead and Farmstead exclusions, which reduce tax bills and are tied to the setting of a real estate tax millage rate.
