Service Held In Honor Of Orlando Victims

 

 

More than 30 people braved rainy conditions to attend a candlelight vigil held in honor of the Orlando shooting victims in Emporium on Wednesday evening.

The vigil was organized by the Cameron County Ministerial Association which consists of about a dozen churches in Emporium, Driftwood, Sinnemahoning and Sterling Run.

“It was such a major tragedy in our country; the largest attack since 9/11,” said Father Paul Siebert of St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Emporium. “We wanted to at least feel like we did something in honor of them.”
