The Cameron County High School Red Raider varsity baseball team had three games last week and were able to capture two victories. On Monday they beat Port Allegany and on Wednesday they topped Smethport, but on Thursday they dropped a road game at Brockway.

On Monday Adam Shaffer tossed a no-hitter and hit a three run homerun to lead Cameron County past the Port Allegany Gators 12-0 in a game shortened to five innings by the ten run rule.

The Raiders also got a three run dinger by catcher Bryce Bauer in the bottom of the fifth frame to end the game. Dino Brown added three hits, two RBIs and two runs scored in the win, while Alex Umble also collected a pair of base hits and scored twice. Shaffer struck out ten and walked two in winning the first game of the year for the Red Raiders. Howie Stuckey suffered the loss for the Gators.
