Cameron County High School junior Trae Smith won his second consecutive District 9 Class AA javelin title last Friday at Kane Area High School. Smith, who won the event last season, had a throw of 177’11” to outdistance the second place finisher by over seventeen feet and qualify for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Championships this Friday and Saturday at Seth Grove Stadium on the campus of Shippensburg University.
