Smith Throws Solid Game For Lady Raiders

The Cameron County High School Lady Red Raider softball team opened their 2016 season last Friday but fell at home to Oswayo Valley, 4-0. It was the second game for the Lady Green Wave, who lost their opener to Northern Potter 1-0.
Laila Smith was the starting pitcher and threw a solid game for the Lady Raiders, allowing five hits, all singles, while striking out seven in seven innings of work. She did not walk a batter.
