Special Day Planned For Bruno Carnovale

A large turnout is expected Friday (Jan. 19 )at the Emporium Firehall to honor long time public servant, Bruno Carnovale.

Bruno spent more than half a century in public service before retiring as Emporium’s mayor, Dec. 31, 2017.

Mayor Justin Zimmer has proclaimed the date as “Bruno Carnovale Day.”

Bruno’s many friends and professional acquaintances will gather from 12:30 to 3 p.m. to talk over old times and recall the many achievements the 81-year-old was responsible for.
