St. Marys Sportsmen’s Ice Fishing Derby
The St. Marys Sportsmen’s Club Annual Ice Fishing Derby will be held on Sunday, February 11th from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the St. Marys Reservoir, if there is at least 8 inches of ice on the reservoir. There will be prizes for the three largest fish caught by an adult and three largest fish caught by a youth. There will be door prizes also given away at the Derby.
This year the Club will be holding a class on how to get started Ice Fishing. This will be held at Noon on the 11th, in conjunction with the Derby. Some equipment will be provided but bring your own if you have it. The class will last approximately one hour, depending on the number of participants. More information on this may be had by calling 781-8537. There is no cost to attend this class.
