State Shows Interest In Costly Denton Hill Remake

It has been a long time since an event at the lodge at Ski Denton was filled to capacity, but it was standing room only for a meeting to discuss a feasibility study and future plans for the park and its operations.

More than 150 people attended the meeting hosted by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and the Denton Hill Stakeholders group to go over the results of a study compiled by Moshier Studios of Pittsburgh that identifies around $12.5 million in necessary repairs prior to the full reopening of the ski resort and state park.
