Students Return From Pearl Harbor Trip
Students from Cameron County and other school districts across the region recently returned from performing at the Pearl Harbor Day Memorial Parade and Ceremonies.
This year marked the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks. The “Day that will Live in Infamy” threw the nation into World War II. More than 400,000 U.S. soldiers would die during the war, with 2,500 casualties from the unprovoked and unimaginable Sunday morning ambush.
