8 p.m. “Films in the Forest: Alone in the Wilderness”
Have you ever thought about leaving civilization behind and living in the wilderness? To build a cabin, be self-sufficient and enjoy the company of your own thoughts is a dream held by many, but few have actually lived it. Come view the documentary “Alone in the Wilderness” featuring original film created by Richard Proenneke, the man who made his wilderness dreams a reality. Follow his day-to-day explorations and activities for his first year in the Alaskan Wilderness and see what it is like to live a “simpler” life.
