Thompson’s Emporium Stop Reassures Cameron County Voters

Congressman Glenn (GT) Thompson was in Emporium last week to assure voters that he would continue to represent Cameron County, no matter what the outcome of the current redistricting issue in Pennsylvania.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s the 8th, 5th or 15th District, Cameron County will be in my district,” said Thompson.
Emporium was one of more than 25 stops on a six-day, 16 county “Listening and Leading Tour” for Thompson.
“This redistricting issue started when a group of Democrats challenged Pennsylvania’s congressional districts as unconstitutional gerrymandered in the state Supreme Court,” said Thompson.
