Three Cases Continued During Return Day

Three cases were continued during Return Day proceedings held at the Cameron County Courthouse last Tuesday.

Proceedings in the case of Elijah Jacob Conser, age 22, formerly of Punxsutawney, could not be held due to a transportation order allowing him to leave the State Correctional Facility in Waynesburg not being processed in time.

Conser is charged with several counts of felony burglary and related charges stemming from July 2016 incidents in which Conser and a co-defendant, Austin Obrien Eckert, are accused of stealing items from several camps in the Wykoff Run area while absconding from parole. The two were discovered when a vehicle they were believed to be travelling in was seen near a camp in the area by on-duty Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) troopers. The two took off on foot, but were chased down and captured by troopers.
