Treasures In the Garden Program
The Emporium Garden Club will kick off its 2018 year on March 26th with a program entitled “Treasures in the Garden” by local resident, Glenn Davis. Mr. Davis is a renowned photographer, having his work published in Audubon, National Geographic, Country Journal magazines, and Hallmark cards, among many others. He was the photographer for the book Backroads of Pennsylvania.
Glenn will discuss the photographs in the presentation, and the techniques he uses to capture the subjects, and how we may also produce quality photos. Mr. Davis, and his wife Darlene, moved to Emporium from the Lancaster, PA area in 2009.
This first meeting of the year will be held at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, on Sizerville Road and will begin with appetizers at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30. Dinner of lemon chicken, red potatoes, green beans almandine and dessert will be catered by Jen Abriatis.
