Trunk or Treat a Success
The rains did not dampen the spirits of anyone during the annual Trunk or Treat event held recently in Emporium. Over 400 children and their families walked through 26 trunks that were decorated for the event. Snacks and music were provided throughout the evening. This event is growing by leaps and bounds and is one of the largest community events that is held.
Five local churches were represented at the event and each is eagerly looking forward to offering this event again next year.
