Police investigations into two reports from separate addresses in the Borough of Emporium led police to execute a search warrant at a local residence.

In late July, Julie Elizabeth Johnson, age 35, of 55 Sycamore Street in Emporium, was arrested on felony charges of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility and related misdemeanor counts.

A state parole agent visiting Johnson’s home alerted local police to the presence of contraband in plain view at Johnson’s residence. The item—a grinder with a small amount of marijuana—was located on a coffee table in the living room of the residence.
