The 2013 Spring Turkey Season expired last Friday and not a moment too soon. Big Jake and I hunted several days a week throughout the month long season including a morning hunt on the last day, but he will have to let his gobbler grow until this fall. I did hear reports that some people were having success and hearing gobblers late in the season, but Jake and I heard nothing from the black ghosts of the forest during the last two weeks of the season.
