Wandering Aimlessly Opening Day 2015

The anticipation had finally reached its pinnacle; it was early Saturday morning, April 18th, the opening day of fishing season.  The day was forecasted to be a beauty, but the beginning was a chilly 40 degrees with fog hanging in the valleys.  It was 7 a.m. and lots of little, medium, and large size fishers were anxiously awaiting 8 a.m.

Big Jake, the Little Bear, and Big Isaac along with Ralph and Ted were headed for the big water in quest of the Judas fish, the golden palominos dumped in by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission several weeks earlier.  Cora, who has now attained the ripe age of five-soon-to-be-six, the smartest of the fishers, told me she was going to sleep in and when she woke up on Saturday morning she would call us to go fishing.
