Wandering Aimlessly, Twiggy, by Phil Burkhouse
Forty years after the Roaring Twenties came the Swinging Sixties. Rock-n-roll marked the mid-‘60s and also the appearance of a skinny English supermodel who went by the handle of Twiggy. Twiggy might have received her nickname from the original twiggy that is an insect in our area, whose real name is the walkingstick.
