Where’s the Deer?

Last week’s question asked you to compute the number of deer killed per square mile in Pennsylvania.  I stated the square mileage of Pennsylvania is 46,058 and last year’s “estimated” deer kill according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission was 336,200 animals.  If you divide 336,200 by the entire area of PA, you arrive at the answer:  7.3 deer killed per square mile.
