Water Withdrawal Options Discussed at Borough Council
Emporium Borough Council members heard remarks from a representative of Keystone Clearwater Solutions concerning water withdrawal operations on Caldwell Corporation property in the borough.
Keystone representative Keith Lupfer stated that his company has been contacted by a drilling operation to supply water to their worksite beginning in mid-June. The company is willing to continue running partial shifts rather than 24-hours per day, in line with the last agreement reached with council.
