‘Weather and Birds’

I do remember a colder winter than this one. In 1962, Feb. 13, our son was born and it was 20 degrees below zero and had been for several days. The water lines froze every day, even if we let the water run. We were living in Rich Valley. We went to the hospital about 10 o’clock at night and Dr. Blackburn passed us on the way up there.
