Where Are The Walleye?

I hate to bring this message. As Sophocles said, “None love the messenger who brings bad news.” On the other hand, I don’t want to be a critic and place blame. As Tyne Daly mused, “A critic is someone who never actually goes to the battle, yet who afterwards comes out shooting the wounded.”
I’ve definitely been part of battle and so can see why those who have labored deserve consideration. The best I can do is just stick to the facts. The walleye did not arrive for the Sinnemahoning this year; hopefully, they will next year. We are used to the automation of trout stockings here, but for other fish, things work a little differently and are a bit more complicated.
